Graduation Requirements

  • 4 credits - English
  • 3 credits - Mathematics
  • 3 credits - Science
  • 3 credits - Social Studies
  • 2 credits - Arts
  • 2 credits - Health and Fitness
  • 1 credit - Occupational Education
  • 4 credits - Electives
  • 2 credits - Foreign Language

Total Credit Requirements - 24 credits - YNTS is affiliated with the Confederated Tribes of the Yakama Nation, therefore all students are required to take Yakama Language and Tribal Government. (Foreign Language cannot be waived). Also, all seniors are required to take Senior Transition and complete a High School and Beyond Plan.

Credit Retrieval Program Available

YNTS has stred a new credit retrieval program called Image Edgenuity. It's a credit program that works with your student to get the necessary credits missed in previous years so that they ar4e on track for graduation. This is offered to sophomores, juniors and seniors. this program will be handled after school and every Saturday.

Schedule:

  • Mondays: 3-5 p.m.
  • Tuesdays: 3-5 p.m.
  • Wednesdays: 2-4 pm.
  • Thursdays: 3-5 p.m.
  • Fridays: 3-5 p.m.
  • Saturdays: 10 a.m.-1 p.m.
