Summer School Credit Recovery Program Begins June 23

Yakama Nation Tribal School is offering a Summer School Credit Recovery Program for students who need to make up coursework and recover credits toward graduation requirements. This program provides students with an opportunity to stay on track for graduation while receiving academic support in a structured learning environment.

The program will run from June 23 through July 30, meeting every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Credit recovery coursework will be completed through Imagine Edgenuity, an online learning platform designed to help students successfully earn missed credits and continue progressing toward their graduation goals. Students enrolled in the program are expected to attend regularly and actively participate in their assigned coursework.

To support student success, transportation will be provided, and students will receive daily lunch and snacks during the program.

Registration is required for all students wishing to participate. Families interested in enrolling their student should contact the Yakama Nation Tribal School office at (509) 865-4778. This information will also help staff coordinate transportation needs. Additional details regarding bus routes and pick-up times will be shared with families prior to the start of the program.

We encourage eligible students to take advantage of this opportunity to recover credits, stay on track academically, and work toward a successful graduation.
