Students and community members recently came together for the Yakama Nation Tribal School Suicide Prevention Walk, an event focused on raising awareness, showing support and reminding one another that no one has to face difficult times alone.
Throughout the event, participants had the opportunity to connect with local programs and learn more about resources available to support individuals and families who may be struggling.
The walk also served as an important reminder that support is available and that reaching out - to a friend, family member, trusted adult or community resource - can make a difference.
Thank you to everyone who participated, shared resources and helped make the Suicide Prevention Walk a meaningful event for our students and community.
